The application is basically a contact manger with a difference. There is no denying the fact that the inbuilt contacts application of the UIQ 3 phones is a great disappointment but to save UIQ3 users, DreamConnect 3 was developed.
Highlights of DreamConnect 3:
• The basic features such as calling, text messages and MMS are very well presented in the DreamConnect 3 contact manager. It actually gives you a shortcut to the above features, where the SMS and MMS options are given along with the name.
• you can also categorise all your contacts under different categories and browsing through the contact via the category tree is very easy and at the same time fast also.There have been some issues reported also which include the high RAM consumption and the basic feature such as contacts and categories backup is also missing.
• All the information about the contact is displayed on a single page rather than the conventional tabbed display which is obviously very convenient. Since the entire information is one single page, you need not tap more.
• DreamConnect 3 also provides 2 types of search utilities. The first search options displays the matching text as you type in and the second search option is quite comprehensive with variety of filters to choose from to refine your search.
• The backbone of the success of DreamConnect 3, according to me is in the fact that it provides the undo option. Even if you have edited or deleted a contact accidently, the actions can always be undone.
